Alzheimer's, the Loss of memory.

Another aspect of memory that fascinates me is alzheimer's decease, how a life time of memories can slowly diminish and the person doesn't remember anything about who they were.

Here's some photography by artist Tom Hussey in which is displays Elderly people who are portrayed as alzheimer's sufferers. They're looking into a mirror and instead of their reflection the see their younger selves.

I've found this very inspiration, even for a separate project which I intend to pursue as and novel someday. The possibilities it could offer as influence for my memory project remains to be seen.
